Booking
How do I book?
Check availability on any studio's page or send us an inquiry, and we confirm your dates and a quote. On the contact page you can build an estimate for any studio and send it with your preferred dates.
What is the minimum booking?
Book by the hour with a four-hour minimum, by the half day (up to 5 hours), or the full day (up to 10 hours). The Volume is booked by the production day, plus optional pre-light days.
Is the space private during my booking?
Yes. Every booking is exclusive use: one production in the studio at a time, no shared slots.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel 48 or more hours before your booking for a 50% refund. Same-day cancellations are non-refundable.
Rates and what is included
Is the price on the site the real price?
Yes. Every rate is published on the page. No request-a-quote, no forced turnkey packages, and any optional add-ons are listed openly.
What comes with the Content Studio?
The full 20 by 30 cyclorama and all four built sets, all grip free (C-stands, flags, apple boxes, sandbags), 400 amps of power, a client lounge, a makeup station, a full kitchen, free parking, and WiFi. Bring your own crew and gear, with no forced markup.
What comes with The Volume?
The 36 by 13 curved LED wall, a trained operator for the day, real-time camera tracking, genlock, the overhead lighting grid, 600 amps of power, and Unreal Engine playback of your environments. A pre-light day is $3,150 (70% of a production day); custom Unreal builds are quoted per production.
Do you charge per person or a cleaning fee?
No per-person surcharge, and standard cleaning is included. A space left in poor condition carries a $200 cleaning fee, and smoking inside is $250.
The space and the cyc
How big is the cyclorama?
20 by 30 feet, seamless white, in the Content Studio.
Is there a cyc repaint fee?
We sweep and spot-clean the cyc after every booking. For a flawless, just-painted white, add a Fresh Cyc Repaint ($400) to your booking. If a shoot leaves the cyc needing a repaint (tire marks, paint, heavy scuffing), a $400 repaint fee applies afterward.
How much power is available?
The Content Studio has 400 amps throughout, and The Volume has 600 amps on the stage. Reviewers tend to notice: plugs everywhere.
What are load-in and parking like?
A drive-in roll-up door with street-level load-in, and free parking front and back.
Is it soundproof?
The studios are insulated and audio-friendly, and we record sound here every day. We sit near a small executive airport, so once in a while a take holds for a passing plane, but it does not get in the way of audio work.
Virtual production, The Volume
What is virtual production?
It puts real, moving environments on a giant LED wall behind your talent, lit by the screen itself. Unlike a green screen, you see the final shot in camera, with real reflections and real light, and nothing to composite in post.
Do I need to bring a VP supervisor or operator?
No. A trained operator runs the wall on every booking, included in the rate. You direct, and we handle the tech.
Can you run my content, or do you build it?
Either. Bring your own Unreal scenes, or we build and optimize them with you.
Is there a prep day?
Yes, a pre-light or tech-check day is available at $3,150, which is 70% of a production day. Custom Unreal environments are still scoped per production.
Logistics and house rules
What are your hours? Is there after-hours access?
Studios book by the hour, half day, or full day, with 24-hour access by arrangement.
Is there WiFi and parking?
Yes, free WiFi and free on-site parking at every studio.
Can I book for an event, not just a shoot?
Beyond shoots, the studios have hosted workshops, off-sites, and small gatherings. Tell us what you have in mind and we will let you know if it is a fit.
Do you have a kitchen?
The Content Studio has a full kitchen for crew. The Loft has a styled prop kitchen (a real range and fridge) for food and lifestyle looks, styled for the camera rather than built for live cooking.
